In the month of April the CORE team had 691 encounters during which they distributed 2,860 doses of naloxone, over 1500 sterile syringes, 900 fentanyl test strips and 300 sterile pipes. Distributing sterile supplies to people who use drugs mitigates secondary health problems such as reducing the spread of communicable diseases.
